Nanci's Bio

Nanci started her retail career with May Company Dept Stores when she was just 16 years old in Ohio. After graduating from college, she moved to Florida continuing her path with May and working through the ranks of management and buying. In 1996, she joined Lord and Taylor in Boca Raton and eventually moved on to Saks Fifth Avenue. With so many department stores consolidating, she choose to open her own store which would blend her 25 years of retail experience with her love of merchandising and design.  Voila! The first furniture consignment store in Wellington Florida was born in 2001. 

The success of the Wellington store had clients requesting more. They wanted full service access to design services and they wanted a store in Palm Beach Gardens. So in response, Nanci built a full scale wallpaper and fabric library that customers could access at their convenience. 

And in 2017, Consign and Design Gardens Gallery was born in Palm Beach Gardens.  Both stores offer high-end luxury furniture consignments and accessories. They also offer new lines of furniture and custom design accessories. Offering 8,000 sq ft at the Wellington location and over 20,000 sq ft of merchandise at the Palm Beach Gardens location, Consign and a Design won’t disappoint! It’s a feast on the eyes.
